REVITALIZATION
“Promoting and sustaining the economic growth of Stafford and the continued revitalization of the City are essential, and a key component to continue the Zero Property Tax” - Wen Guerra

As a former board member of City of Stafford’s Planning & Zoning Commission and as serving President of Stafford Economic Development Corporation since elected in 2015, I have been aggressively pursuing economic development since 1999 for the City of Stafford.
Areas of ongoing development are along the extensively landscaped and enhanced US 90-A Corridor, with its interior section designated as the Island, a historic area for which the City has long been recognized.
One of Wen's most notable achievements is his instrumental workings and negotiations in bringing The Grid a $500 million massive mixed-use development to Stafford.
Looking towards the future, Wen will continue to look for areas for future development and redevelopment, as well as, realistic and implementable recommendations by the public, and community stakeholders. With specific goals and strategies associated with economic development, transportation, future land use, parks and recreation, as well as neighborhood and community character, that will ultimately build upon the City’s strong fiscal foundation Wen is ready to carry the City of Stafford into the future!

THE GRID
The Grid will feature 350,000 square feet of destination shopping, restaurant locations a brewery, a high-end restaurant-style cinema, 500,000 square-feet of office space, multiple hotel brands, a health club, a network of pocket parks, jogging paths and bike trails.

THE LAWN
A community gathering place called "The Lawn" is designed to be the centerpiece element of The Grid, offering space for people to gather for seasonal events, live music performances, outdoor movies, and art exhibits.

POINT OF DESTINATION
The Grid will feature 350,000 square feet of destination shopping, restaurant locations and a brewery, a high-end restaurant-style cinema, a four-story driving range for golfers, 500,000 square-feet of office space, multiple hotel brands and concepts and a health club.

OPEN AIR PLAZA
The rest of the complex follows a form of in-‘n-out urbanism that packs in the center with all kinds of walkable space forming a boundary between the open-air plaza and this shady beer garden.

SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
A movie theater, brewery, food hall, a dual-branded 234-room hotel, and a planned golf entertainment venue Drive Shack - a four-story driving range offering a full drink and food menu for golfers of all skill levels.

ADDING STAFFORD RESIDENTS
The development also includes a multi-family residential component that could draw as many as 5,000 new residents to Stafford. That's almost a quarter more residents to the City of Stafford!
